rclone

Privacy policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

This policy covers the rclone OAuth application used by Velihan Doğrul to back up files to his own Google Drive, and this informational website.

Data used by the application

The application processes the contents, names, paths, sizes, and modification times of the files and folders the user selects. It accesses related Drive file information to locate the destination and distinguish existing names.

A Google access token and refresh token maintain the Drive access authorized by the user. The requested scope permits viewing, editing, creating, and deleting Drive files. The current backup workflow copies selected files to Drive.

Where data is stored

Use and sharing

Google user data is used only to perform the backups requested by the user and display transfer status. It is not sold or used for advertising, profiling, or training AI models. Backup files are not sent to recipients outside Google Drive.

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded copies remain in the user's Google Drive until the user deletes them. Retention and deletion of the local queue history and configuration are controlled by the user. Queue history has no automatic expiry.

Google access can be revoked from the Google Account connections page. Revoking access prevents future access to the account. Copies already uploaded can be managed separately in Google Drive.

This website

This website has no forms, account registration, advertising, or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical data such as IP addresses, request times, and browser information to serve pages and provide security. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
